Terms and Conditions

1. Submission Form Requirements

You must specify if you want your items auctioned or sold at reserve prices and the requested platform for the items to be sold on. 

 

A list must be included for Submissions over 25 cards including card name, grading company, grade, certification #, and price (if listing at a fixed price). Whatnot Live Streams do not require a list. 

 

If listing on eBay or our site, the product should be packaged in order of the list submitted, if the submission is over 25 cards and not in order an additional $25 fee per 100 cards will be applied for handling. 

Package your product and send it to the following address:

2. Fixed Price Submissions

If submitting for reserve, please provide an accurate list of all prices per item.

If no prices are provided, we will assume it is an auction and list it as such.

If you are requesting items to be listed at a fixed price, all price tiers will be charged a $2.99 fee. This fee covers listing and storage.

If a fixed price listing does not sell within 100 days, the consignor will advise how to proceed. If the consignor requests the items to be shipped back to them, they will be charged 50% of the selling rate applicable to their items based on their initial reserve price request plus the cost of shipping the items back. If the consignor wants the item relisted after 100 days, they will be charged $2.99 per item.

3. Auction Submissions

Auction submissions must be identified as either eBay or Whatnot based on the consignor's preference. Items are ONLY eligible for Whatnot auction if you are submitting a minimum of 100 slabs/ singles, and a maximum of 250 slabs or 1000 singles per stream.

 

Whatnot Slab Auctions will be held during 1 stream created specifically for your product; your product will not be co-mingled with anyone else's.

Whatnot Singles Auctions may require your product to be co mingled with others consignors due to quantity and quality of the consignments. 

 

If the consignor wants giveaways to be run during the live stream, they will be responsible for the cost of the giveaways and shipping of said giveaways. (negotiable and determined prior to stream) 

 

Whatnot slab auctions are charged a 12.5% fee + a flat fee of $100 per stream, after Whatnot fees. 

Whatnot singles auctions are charged a 12.5% fee after Whatnot fees, plus $0.10 per auction. Minimum charge of $200 excluding the per auction fee. 

No prices are needed for auction submissions.

All auctions start at $1. We will list certain items as Buy it Now items during Whatnot streams, if not sold during stream they will be auctioned at the end of the stream.

All sports slabs will be listed on eBay to give the consignor the best opportunity at a maximum payout.

All auctions are listed as 7-day auctions on eBay.

Any eBay orders requiring shippers' insurance will be deducted from the consignor's payout. Typically, all orders over $150+ will require insurance on ebay to avoid us paying for lost packages or claims.  

If the consignor requests the items to be auctioned on the Whatnot app, they will be conducted as live 15-second auctions $1 starting price. Items must be received by Saturday to be auctioned the following Sunday via live stream.

4. Submission Deadlines

All eBay and The Slab Vault Site items must be received by Saturday to be listed for the following Saturday. Exceptions apply for no advanced notice or not filling out a submission form, items will be sold when time permits.  

All Whatnot App Live Stream items must be received by Monday and will be auctioned Sunday of the following week after reception. Exceptions apply for no advanced notice or not filling out a submission form, items will be sold when time permits.  

5. Payouts

Payouts for Whatnot and The Slab Vault Site items are within 48 hours of payment reception from buyer(s).

 

Payouts for eBay listings are sent within approximately 10 business days of sale. 

We pay out via Wire, Zelle, or PayPal. Wires are subject to additional fees. 

6. Product Acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse any product.

Any items deemed unauthentic will be sent back, and a fee of $20 will be applied per item.

We do not accept sealed product of any kind at this moment.

We do not accept any unlicensed, altered, or marked cards whatsoever.

We do not accept any damaged slabs. If damaged in transit to us, the seller will be notified and advised if they want the item auctioned or reserve priced and listed as damaged.

We do not auction slabs lots; all slabs are listed individually, unless sequentially graded.

7. Listing and Liability

As mentioned above, all items will be listed by Saturday of the following week of reception for eBay and the Slab Vault Site, and auctions via the Whatnot App will be conducted the following Sunday after reception.

Consignors have the option to not include a card list for consignments of 25 items or less, and just send in their items. Consignments greater than 25 must include a full card list with the applicable information (card name, grade, grading company, price, etc.)

If a full card list with the required information is not included in the submission form, The Slab Vault LLC will not be liable for any claims of "missing items."

 

The Slab Vault LLC will not be liable for any losses or damages during the shipping to or shipping from process. 

8. Marketing Information

By submitting items to The Slab Vault LLC, you agree to allow us to contact you with marketing information.

 

9. Use of the Platform

By using our platform, you accept responsibility for your actions and agree not to engage in any illegal or unauthorized activities. Additionally, you agree to adhere to all relevant laws and regulations in your use of our platform.

10. Content

​

Our platform retains the rights to all images across our Website, Inventory, and Instagram. Use of these images requires explicit permission from The Slab Vault, LLC.

11. Intellectual Property

Our platform, including all its content, features, and functionality (such as information, software, text, displays, images, videos, audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement of these elements), is owned by us or our licensors. It is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other U.S. and international intellectual property laws.

 

These Terms of Service allow you to use our platform solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, modifying, creating derivative works, publicly displaying, performing, republishing, downloading, storing, or transmitting any material from our platform, with the following exceptions:
• Your computer may temporarily store copies of materials in RAM as part of accessing and viewing those materials.
• Your Web browser may store files that are automatically cached for display enhancement purposes.
• You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages from the platform for your personal, non-commercial use, not for further reproduction, publication, or distribution.

If we provide desktop, mobile, or other applications for download, you may download a single copy to your computer or mobile device solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, and not for further reproduction, publication, or distribution. If we offer social media features with certain content, you may take such actions as are enabled by such features.

You must not:
• Modify copies of any materials from this platform.
• Use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences, or any graphics separately from the accompanying text.
• Delete or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices from copies of materials from this platform.
• Access or use for any commercial purposes any part of the platform or any services or materials available through the platform.

If you print, copy, modify, download, or otherwise use or provide any other person with access to any part of the platform in breach of the Terms of Service, your right to use the platform will stop immediately, and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made. Any unauthorized use may also violate applicable laws, including without limitation copyright and trademark laws and applicable communications regulations and statutes.​

 

12. User Conduct

You agree to refrain from engaging in any of the following activities:
• Utilizing our platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
• Participating in any activity that interferes with or disrupts our platform (or the servers and networks connected to it).
• Trying to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of our platform.

13. General Terms

By submitting items to The Slab Vault LLC, you agree to these terms and conditions, our Policies, which is inclusive of the Submission Process, Important Info, and Rates/ Fees published. 

By consigning with The Slab Vault LLC, you agree to the published rates on our website, and they are non-negotiable.

The Slab Vault LLC reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
